The
Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce named “Coastal”
as one of its “Emerging 10” companies in 1997. From
this elite group of companies, Coastal Corrugated, Inc. won top
honors by being selected as the Chamber’s “Small Business
of the Year” for 1997-1998. These awards were based on exceptional
growth rate in sales, integrity and high standards of quality. At
the awards ceremony, the company was said to have differentiated
itself from its competitors by exemplifying superior customer service
and by paying attention to detail.
In 1998, Mr. Bozard along with several other partners from
North Carolina created Pinnacle Corrugated, LLC and built a cutting
edge "sheet-feeder" in Landis, North Carolina, using
the latest industry technology. This newest technology corrugator
supplies "Coastal" and its other partners with the only
virgin kraft corrugated produced in the Carolinas. In fact, the
quality of this fiber material has proven so superior, that many
customers have chosen to use lighter grades, thus reducing their
packaging costs. This strategic position has fostered the company's
continued focus on superior quality and care. |
